Republicans call for independent probe
Washington — The White House said it has reason to believe that an illegal leak which disclosed the identity of a CIA operative was made by former President Bill Clinton’s penis. The operative, wife of a former U.S. diplomat with expertise in African affairs, was apparently named by Clinton’s appendage in a series of encounters with several Washington journalists.
White House spokesman Scott McClellan said that Bill Clinton’s penis “has a clear track record of endangering the national security of the United States.” McClellan wouldn’t speculate on the identity of the journalists who were leaked the information, but added “clearly, Bob Novak has to explain some things to his family now.”
Republicans in Congress have demanded an independent inquiry into the allegations.
“We believe that Bill Clinton should be forced to answer some tough questions,” said House Majority Leader Tom DeLay. “He, along with his penis, has caused yet another potential constitutional crisis.”
